Nicole Mathews

Nicole Mathews is a qualified Nutritional Therapist and Naturopath, registered with The British Association of Nutritional Therapists and The Association of Nuturopathic Practitioners. The food people eat becomes cells, tissues, organs, hormones and neurotransmitters. The food people eat provides energy for their heart to beat, their muscles to move and their brains
to think.

But food is so much more than fuel. Food can be warming, cooling, nourishing and cleansing. The foods people eat affect
them physically and emotionally. Many people think of seeing a Nutritional therapist for weight-loss, eating disorders
and digestive problems, but nutrition can do so much more. A healthy diet will help increase energy and vitality, reduce inflammation, balance hormones, lower blood pressure, clear skin, boost immunity, balance blood sugar and improve mood.

Kinesiology Nutrition

In a consultation Ella advises on the use of diet and food supplements to restore balance, aid detoxification and address potential nutritional deficiences. Kinesiology ‘muscle testing’ is an effective tool for determining food sensitivies. Results are immediate and testing is completely pain free. There is no need to remove any clothing. It is suitable for adults and children. Ella has more than 100 test vials for food sensitivity testing. These include Dairy Products – Milk, Cheese, Cream and Yoghurt (Cow’s and Goat’s). Wheat, Gluten, Spelt and other Grains. Meat, Fish, Eggs, Nuts and Seeds. Many Fruits and Vegetables. Tea, Coffee and Sugar and more.

For a personalised nutritional approach, Ella uses Kinesiology ‘muscle testing’. Kinesiology is used to pinpoint potential imbalances, food sensitivites, and create a tailor made supplementation program. In practice this means that if you take any supplements they can be checked to see if they are suitable for you. Having detected any imbalances using the Kinesiology technique, supplements can be muscle tested to see if they will aid you to redress these imbalances.

Ella can pinpoint which foods are negative for you and which foods are positively benefical for you. She is able to recommend which foods would be benefical for you to add or increase in your diet. Ella is now able to test several varieties of ‘superfoods’ to see which of these would be most benefical for you. These ‘superfoods’ include: Gogi Berries, Maca, Suma, Hemp, Raw Chocolate, Carob, Mesquite, Purple Corn Extract, Coconut Oil, Spirilina, Barley Grass, Wheat Grass and more.
