The only program of its kind in the state of Kansas, the Department of Human Nutrition discovers, disseminates and applies knowledge to promote improved food choices, nutritional status, and well-being of people. The vision of the Department is
to enhance the well-being of people by promoting informed food choices and optimal nutrition. The Department provides comprehensive education, research and extension programs in human nutrition and sensory analysis.
